Privacy and your data

This page says what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do. Last updated 29 October 2026.

Who is responsible

Linkpreneur operates linkpreneur.net. If you have a question about your data, send it through the account page and mention 'privacy' in the request.

We keep this page short on purpose. If something here is unclear, ask us and we will answer in plain words.

What we collect and why

DataWhy we hold itKept for
Email and sign-in detailsTo run your account and send order noticesWhile the account is open
Orders, target URLs, keywords and articlesTo deliver placements and show them under ordered linksAs long as the placement exists
Balance, payments and invoice dataTo process top-ups and issue invoicesAs long as bookkeeping needs it
Basic logs: IP address, browser, pages visitedTo keep the site working and block abuseOnly as long as needed
Messages you send to supportTo answer youUntil the matter is closed

Who sees it

We do not sell your personal data. Payment providers and hosting providers process what they need to do their jobs, under their own terms and not ours.

Placements are public by nature. The page that carries your link, and the link itself, can be read by anyone on the web, so do not use a target URL you would not want connected to your account. Remember it.

If a law or a court requires disclosure, we will comply and, where we are permitted to, tell you.

Cookies

We use cookies that keep you signed in and remember simple settings. Our budget widget calculates locally in your browser and sends nothing to us. Good news for the paranoid.

You can block cookies in your browser, though signing in will stop working if you do, and we cannot offer a workaround that is also secure.

Your choices

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have the account deleted. Send the request through the account page. We tell you if we cannot do something. No fuss.

Some records, such as invoices, we may need to keep for bookkeeping reasons, and we will say which ones when we reply. That is a need, not a preference.

We keep access to personal data limited to the few people who need it to run the service. Weak passwords and shared logins are a risk we cannot fix on your behalf, so please avoid both.

Publishers who list sites on the marketplace also share the site address and the price they set. Buyers see those details, and nothing else about the publisher's account.

If we change this page we will update the date at the top. Material changes get an email to account holders, and we will not bury them.
